That’s right. I said it. She’d never run for President, of course, since she has a lot of other things she’d rather do, but it’s still worth considering that she’d throw one hell of a campaign and be one hell of a President. She speaks better than her husband, for one thing. Second, she’s far more intelligent. By that I mean that she’s not someone who’d stand for the type of presidency her husband has been conducting. Drone warfare, Increased Warfare (Yemen anyone?), mass deportation and deportation camps(war crimes), and increased, not decreased, secrecy. He’s a Moderate Republican in all but name. They no longer exist, except in his image.
Third, her background and race. It can’t be ignored. They strengthen an already heart-felt personality. She’s overcome a HUGE amount of roadblocks, namely sexism and racism, that’s she’s had to endure all of her life. Instead of being cowed by the bigots, she rose above them. Her character is non-impugnable, if I may make up a word. Haters would try but they’d only come off as desperate and sick.
The last thing that sold me was her speech about Donald Trump’s sexual predator behavior.
“In this election, if we turn away from her, if we just stand by and allow her opponent to be elected, then what are we teaching our children about the values they should hold? About the kind of life they should lead. What are we saying?” she said. “In our hearts, in our hearts, we all know that if we let Hillary’s opponent win this election, then we are sending a clear message to our kids that everything they’re seeing and hearing is perfectly okay. We are validating it. We are endorsing it.”
“We’re telling our sons that it’s okay to humiliate women. We’re telling our daughters that this is how they deserve to be treated,” she continued. “We’re telling all our kids that bigotry and bullying are perfectly acceptable in the leader of their country.“
