Microsoft Games Sell Right Wing Political Ads

If you play free games from the Microsoft Store, you’ll be familiar with the AD bar as well as the occasional pop-up ad.  I regularly play “The Backgammon” game.

Today, this popped up:

This is offensive.  Not only does it advertise getting from a slanted political view, it’s advertising to get news from known Hate Speech and Racist groups.

This is all thanks to the age of Trump, where we’ve legitimized hate speech, assault weapons’ murderers, and openly, legally, bribing our politicians and allowing violations of the law to pass while we arrest and violate the rights of people who smoke a joint or have brownish skin.

I sent Microsoft Feedback through that stupid and useless “Feedback Hub”.  I included the above screenshot and told them I object to a political ad that promotes Hate Speech.

Think they’ll listen?

Only if millions –millions– send the same complaint.  I should add that if two Right Wing asshats send in a complaint, it gets seen to.

What the fuck is wrong with this picture?

They’re Complaining About NOT Being Able to Grab Ass

Twin Cities Pioneer Press:  MN lawmakers want to make butt-grabbing illegal. (Currently, there’s a clothed-buttocks exception.)

The press, in a split-decision so far, is treating this as if it’s something BAD. To make it illegal to grope someone’s ass. That’s BAD. No. It is not.

This is small potatoes and should be on the law books in every municipality.

We in the United States of America currently *condone* sexual assault and *condemn* being sexually active and experienced. We *condone* slut-shaming. We *condone* victim-blaming. We *condone* making women afraid via catcalling and unwanted advances.

We *condone* Coercive Control.

We *condone* Stalking.

We *condone* rape. We accommodate *rapists*. Rapists and Serial rapists currently serve 2-5 years after only getting 8 year sentences, on average. It is an outlier if a rapist gets 10 years. It’s virtually impossible to get life in prison. These people are a danger to society, but they’re repeatedly let out of prison or given probation or let off completely because the victims are shamed and revictimized.

We *condone* child abuse. (corporal punishment)

We *condone* parent-authorized child rape. (child marriage) **There is currently NO age limit in the U.S. for child marriage.** This includes so-called Liberal states. If a parent/s wants to marry their daughter off to some pervert, they can. Even if that daughter is five years old. They disguise it as religious freedom, but it’s nothing more than child slavery and child sex trafficking.

And some people are having a fucking cow about not being able to grab ass.

What the fucking goddamn hell is wrong with this picture.

Greatest Country in the world? It never existed and it sure as fuck doesn’t exist now.

I advise everyone who gets their ass grabbed by some dumbfuck who thinks they have the right to break their goddamn fingers, their wrist, and their confidence.  That goes for sexual assault, threats, stalking, and every MFer who thinks they have to right to make people afraid.  It’s long past time to put a stop to it.

Now, all that said, nothing will get done to protect women, children, and those who can’t defend themselves until we stop living in a Patriarchal society that celebrates misogyny and assault.  It’ll never stop until our society turns egalitarian.  Frankly, that’s likely going to take another 1,000 years if we haven’t killed off our entire species by then after Mother Nature’s done with us.

Treat People With Respect & Things May Change in a Hundred Years

Have you ever noticed the horrible stacking of ‘box’ apartment homes in Mexico, Central America, South America, certain portions of Southern Europe?  In movies, you see the stacked housing units in places like Brazil.

Ever noticed the bleak boxes that make up “affordable housing” apartment complexes, also known as Projects in some cities?

Ever here about “slum lords”?  They rent low-cost housing.  They don’t make repairs until the city or state forces them to.  They allow vermin like rats/mice or insects like cockroaches infest these buildings.

Many of these housing units contain lead paint that hasn’t been removed.  This sort of thing also exists in veterans’ temporary housing and rehab housing.  The effects of such things are detrimental to the health of the occupants.  The money isn’t provided to repair the contamination.

Ever asked why all that exists?

This is how the poor are treated by the rich.  The “rich” don’t have to be overly rich, either.  They can be middle class or upper middle class.

The poor are treated with contempt.

The poor can’t rise above their station because the society that has the poor ensures they can’t.  When someone rises above that lowly station, it’s an anomaly.  It doesn’t happen because they worked hard and stayed out of trouble.  It happened because they got lucky.  That’s all.  Lucky.  They ran into the right people.

When you treat the poor like vermin, they’ll behave like vermin.  They’ll treat you and everyone else, regardless of station, with cynical dislike.  They need help.  They need protection.  Their kids will form gangs out of that need.

IF a society smartens up and treats everyone equally, pays everyone equally, and shows the poor a modicum of respect, then things change for the better.  If you tear down the shanty towns and rebuild them, giving the poor good homes and livable jobs, their behavior will change.  There are some who’ll stay trapped in their ‘poor’ mindset and will trample on whatever nice thing you give them.  One must understand that the rich do the same, but for a different reason:  Because they can.

If you treat people with respect, you’ll get respect in return, and things will change.  It won’t happen overnight or even within a few years or maybe even a generation.  But we have to start doing it.  The rich need to be forced to treat everyone the same.  The poor need to be given a chance.

We won’t get rid of stereotypes, racism, sexism, and other forms of hatred until we treat everyone with respect.  Unfortunately, the powerful will not cede their supremacy without a fight and so many people will die without decent housing, food, and healthcare.  Which is what the poor always need as much as everyone else but are forced to live with scraps.

We have to do something about this and one way, if you’ll pardon the political here, is to elect people with spine and ethics.  Sadly, 98% of our elected officials don’t have the latter and those that do lack a spine.  Progressive views are the way to a brighter future for everyone, not just the rich.

Let’s start by treating everyone with respect–but please, be rational about it.

No, you don’t have to treat a wannabe Nazi with respect.  You can treat them with a figurative kick the pants.

You don’t have to treat a fascist with respect.

You don’t have to treat someone who views women as less than human with respect.

You see the thread I’m going with.

Treat a person with respect, they’ll give it back.  If they’re rational, of course.  This doesn’t apply to psychopaths because they don’t know rational or respect.  And it should go without saying that rational also doesn’t apply to the Trump voter.

Love & Respect Others With Differing Viewpoints?

I know what you may be thinking.

If you’re a conservative, you’re thinking, “Fuck that.  They’re immoral, against god, partisan …”

If you’re a liberal, you’re thinking, “Okay, sure.  Jesus said turn the other cheek.  And if you don’t believe in Jesus, that’s okay.  Martin Luther King Jr., said we must strive to get along with one another.”

If you’re a religious zealot (fundamentalist anything), you’re thinking, “Fuck that.  They immoral, against god, partisan …”

If you’re a secularist, you’re thinking, “It depends.”

If you’re rich, and therefore have power because it’s been bought, you’re thinking, “Who is this bitch?  Someone get rid of her.”

If you’re a politician who believes that donor money is okay, then you’re thinking, “Who is this bitch?  Someone get rid of her.”

If you’re a corporation, you … well, you’re not a person, so who gives a shit what your CEO thinks.

. . . .

Giving voice to the many as opposed to the few is what our First Amendment bestows upon us.  Its purpose is egalitarian.  But over the many decades, conservatives and religious ascetics and zealots have tried to narrow the First Amendment so that it only applies to the few.  They believe that it actually means,

“The First Amendment means my religion is paramount and you had better believe what I believe.  If you don’t, I will bury you.  My life is more important than yours, so bow down in fear before me.  And I can say whatever the hell I want because your opinion doesn’t matter–unless it’s the same as mine.  Then Hallelujah, praise god, and let’s have a circle jerk.”

Okay, maybe not that last part of the sentence, but it’s point is the same.

Over the many centuries, and in the case of the United States of America, decades, the rich have tried to preserve a slave class.  A serfdom.  They have been stopped occasionally, but by and large, they have succeeded because we–all of us, not just those who aren’t well-off and comfortable–have been taught to believe that they are better than us because they have money.  Someone somewhere decided their bloodlines are superior, based solely on what a few people believed.

“This guy’s a king because … well, that guy said so.  Bow down.”

“This family name is better than mine because … well, they say so.  Bow down.”

It’s all because those so-called ‘royal’ bloodlines or family dynasties came from money.  I’m sure you can think of a few names.  Windsor.  Tudor.  Vanderbilt.  Kennedy.  Dupont.  Rockefeller.  Morgan.  The list is long, but it pales in comparison to the list of names that belong to everyone else.  The 99.9%.

We live in a hierarchical Patriarchy.  This requires an unequal system and can’t thrive without it.  Children, regardless of age, are relegated to childhood and disrespect every time their parent, no matter the age, walks in the room.  Maturity does not guarantee mutual respect and equality.  A father at 80, sees his son, at 60, as his little boy.  His son hasn’t ‘earned’ his maturity because he’s still ‘lower’ on the totem pole than the ‘father’.  This hierarchy gets passed down, and so the behavior and belief get passed down.  It ensures, and insures, inequality.

Patriarchy also places males above females. This invites criminality and aberrant behavior.

Without lop-sided belief systems, men and women are a reflection of the animal kingdom.  They are equal in the eyes of nature.  They have their roles, their strengths and weaknesses, and they balance each other.  Bring in belief, and that balance suffers.  Nature will try to regain that balance, but if the belief system countermands it, then the whole suffers.

Patriarchy also places one class above another.  See above about the rich.  This societal structure doesn’t come into play, directly, when one lives in a caste system.  That sort of system is different than class in that you can have the same economical status, but your caste system says that those who prepare the dead for burial are lower caste than those who clean the streets.  They make the same amount of money.  They provide needed service to the community.  But some asshole somewhere decided that funeral services were beneath them and convinced others to treat them with open hostility—until you need those funerary services, then you have to soil yourself to use them.

There are people around us, bless their hearts, who believe in an egalitarian point of view.  Laudable.  Everyone’s viewpoint or belief system is no less important than another’s.  They tell us that we have to consider everyone’s point of view.  Consider your friend’s.  Consider the stranger’s.  Consider your enemy’s.  “Be open to another view.”

Okay.  Let’s do that.

Now we’re all respecting of each other’s opinions.

No.  We’re not.

Those of the conservative and/or religious/classist viewpoint not only do not see everyone as equal, they refuse to do so.  Their belief system prevents it.

And let’s get down to brass tacks here.  If you are a conservative.  If you are a fundamentalist.  If you are rich.  Then here is what we who are not have seen from you:

You see a poor person as a blight on society, and as someone who doesn’t deserve help, and you are not only willing to walk past as they lie bleeding in the street, you are adamant about it.  You are willing to create laws that discriminate against them.  You create laws that force a cop to shoot them for being something you despise: different than you.  Skin color.  Eye color.  Eye shape.  Belief system.  Bank account.  If they aren’t on the same level as you, based solely on the numbers on a page, you want them out of sight.

Clean my house.  Clean my street.  Make my water run clean.  Make my car.  Make my clothes.  Grow my food.  Tell me my health is perfect.  Fix it if it isn’t.  You know they’re there, just out of sight.  Your eye will not go there.  You can’t stand to look there.  You know they’re suffering .  And you don’t care.

So, ladies and gents.  Those of you who say we must respect and allow everyone’s viewpoints …

Should we really allow those whose viewpoints would willingly see others suffer to be in charge?  To be respected?

I’m sorry.  But egalitarianism, like democracy, should only go so far.

Stop acting so goddamn surprised when famous people are exposed as predators

Sexual Harassment.  It’s as old as Patriarchy.  As old as prostitution.  You know that.  And you were quite happy to ignore it.

  • If you’re a woman who’s shocked by the revelations that have been exposed over the last two years, you have willingly turned a blind eye.
  • If you’re a man, and you don’t understand what these women are complaining about, you’re part of the problem.

Think this is a recent development?  You haven’t been paying attention *on purpose*.  Why?  Not your fault, for the most part.  Why not?  Who’s to blame?  We are.  For allowing men to prey on women with not just a blind eye, but social Acceptance.

A. Casting couch.  The “famous” Hollywood problem that no one does anything about.

B. Secretary harassment.  Example: the secretary in the film “9 to 5”.  The famous acts by millions of bosses that no one does anything about.

C. Catcalls.  The famous acts by men in groups (and indoctrinated women, if they are with them) who fall sway, on purpose, to the pack mentality.

D. Marital Rape.

E. Second-class citizen.

F. The Dirty Old Man isn’t arrested.  Ex-judge Roy Moore anyone?

Until 1988’s The Accused, which purposely pointed out the horrendous treatment of a rape victim by the judicial system, law enforcement, and public opinion, proper criminal treatment of rape was minimized.

Despite advancement in the recognition of rape as a serious crime, it is still treated with minimization and disregard.  Rape as a felony isn’t a federal statute, nor is there a mandatory sentence under certain requirements.  It’s left up to individual prosecutors in every single jurisdiction and the majority of rapists won’t see a day in prison.  Rape is so minimized and dismissed that it’s trotted out as an excuse for snot-nosed, over-priced, over-protective parents to cry about if their “baby girl” has had sex.  The boyfriend is attacked and thrown in jail.  When something truly horrific happens, they don’t know what to do.

  • A girl is raped by her uncle and no one does a goddamn thing.  It’s just kept in the family and treated as an unfortunate event.  The man is dangerous, but he’s considered family.  Meanwhile, the girl (or boy) suffers. Rape isn’t sex.
  • Sexual intercourse and oral/physical contact is used as a weapon for the purposes of sexual sadism, sexual intimidation, sexual coercion, and sexual blackmail.  When a male offender doesn’t have a penis, he’ll use whatever is at hand.  Rape isn’t sex.
  • When the Buddhists of Burma rape Muslim women, or when the slave patrols of the south raped black women, or when Muslim men rape Muslim women, or when husbands rape their wives, it isn’t as an act of “getting off”.  It’s sadism used as punishment.  Rape isn’t sex.
  • Gay rape is even more condoned and minimized thanks to society’s brainwashing against homosexuality. It has nothing to do with being gay. Rape is not sex.

This recent outrage over the light sentence of a rich boy’s criminality is an example of society’s condonation.  The outrage was superficial and not taken seriously because the rape wasn’t brutal and didn’t result in the woman’s death.  No serious action was taken in response.  The judge said he didn’t want to ruin the poor boy’s future.  The woman, on the other hand?  Fuck her.  Public opinion isn’t a proper legal tactic for a prosecutor, and it never should be, but when a judge awards a perpetrator a light sentence because the boy is a) rich, and b) white, we have a huge problem.  And it’s ignored.  Further, the rape of this woman was dismissed by a large portion of society, and specifically, by the news media.

Because harassers (including stalkers), rapists, molesters, and those who beat up women on an hourly basis don’t consider it a crime.

Rape kits are treated with less priority than a polygraph, and the latter isn’t even accepted (officially) in a court of law.

The following is a list of industry award centers that routinely condone harassment, assault, and rape:

The Academy of Arts and Sciences

Hollywood Foreign Press (Golden Globes)

Screen Actors Guild

The British Academy Film Awards

and other industry centers.

They have failed to give recognition of exceptional work to films like The Accused because the subject matter is common place.

Many, many people abuse their power.  It’s as ordinary, and accepted, as an abusive husband or a President of the United States.

When the offender holds the highest position of the country, or sits on the highest court, why isn’t the country outraged?

Because it’s COMMON.  There are famous men out there who are still lauded because: Rape is not important enough to condemn them.  Examples:  Kobe Bryant and Mike Tyson.  They aren’t the exception.  They are the rule.

So don’t act all outraged when Kevin Spacey or Russell Simmons or any other favorite persona is accused and they’re immediately ostracized for a while before they’re forgiven.

Well, except for Kevin Spacey (gay) or Russell Simmons (black).  And therein lies a whole other kettle of condonement.

Our “Civic Culture” Is Sick of Obama and the DNC Establishment Horror Show

Mr. Obama’s article at Politico, the hack site that never gives all the facts:

Obama, opening his foundation’s first summit, calls for fixing civic culture

He said:

“What we need to do is think about our civic culture, because what’s wrong with our politics is a reflection of something that’s wrong with the civic culture, not just in the United States but around the world.”

No. You’re playing party politics and catering to the establishment corruption. OUR “civic culture” is sick of it. OUR “civic culture” has had enough of the lies, the pandering, the lobbyists, and the legalized briberies.

We didn’t get Clinton elected because she was a BAD candidate. Her egotistical approach to campaigning for the job was “I deserve it”.  She acted like the job’s hers because she’s running and because she lost eight years prior to a 44-year old professor of law so this time, it’s her job.  It’s such a narrow tunnel-visioned approach to campaigning.  She’s not only corrupt, she gave us the middle finger.  Like the following:

She avoided us and the press for 8 months of the election cycle. She went around giving paid speeches instead.  She altogether refused to tell us WHY she was running.  “I’m With Her”, or that other slogan that I can’t even remember because it was so lame-ass, was a bomb waiting to go off.  She was supposed to be this smart person and she lost.  NOT because people voted for Stein or Johnson.  That’s a pathetic excuse to blame the voters instead of looking at yourself to see what it was that they didn’t like.  It’s like that crap with Gore v Bush in 2000.  The DNC is still fuming over that.  Gore actually did win.  BUT.  He would have won a lot more if he had adopted the Progressive platform and not gone further Right.  Sure, he was for the environment, but you can’t be “for the environment” and cater to the corporations’ tax dodging and annihilations of said environment.

So along comes Obama and he basically says the voters are to blame for Donald Trump.

People, please listen up.  “Civic Culture” is a euphemism for voter turnout.  We are to blame.  No.  Clinton is to blame.  The DNC leadership is to blame.

We. Are. Sick. Of. The. Establishment. Corruption.

You, Obama, and the rest of that lot?  You don’t do what we tell you to do.  You treat us as if we’re children acting up.  Only when we put a knife to our throats (Trump) do you sit up and take notice and ask what the hell went wrong.  YOU went wrong.

Mr. Obama.  The DNC got lazy.  They turned into GOP Lite.  They went Right instead of Left and they are in Congress for one reason only:  padding their wallet.  Only the Progressives who have to call themselves Democrats in order to get backing from the DNC care about us.  You don’t.  You started up wars we had no business getting involved in.  You should have apologized to the entire Muslim world for our arrogance and war crimes, but instead, you increased military contractors and our Zero Policy presence in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Indonesia, and Asia.

Why don’t you use your time to tell everyone the truth?  Because you won’t get paid for all those lies you tell in those $quarter-million-dollar speeches.

You booted out Latinos for no good goddamn reason.  “Only the criminals” was a lie.  Trump has ICE outdoing your heinous deeds because you gave him the blueprints.  You went after whistleblowers because they exposed the criminals.  You killed the messenger.

Let’s make a comparison.

Men and women betray our country and they get a slap on the wrist, a stern talking to.  But “leakers” and “whistleblowers” get put in prison for exposing the war crimes we’ve been committing.  So they’re arrested and thrown in a dungeon or they’re forced to go on the run.  They exposed what you were ILLEGALLY doing so they had to pay.

We The People are sick of the lies that have torpedoed our bank accounts and livelihoods over the last 40 years, and all because we bought into the lies you fed us.  We are SICK of you, Clinton, and the DNC’s favoritism for the corrupt.

Progressive want to purge your kind out of government.  And for that, the new establishment hack leader of the DNC purged all Progressive democrats from leadership positions in the DNC.

That’s a message.  And we’re not gonna take it., people.  Go support.

I fell for your bullshit, Mr. Obama.  I voted for you.  Twice.  The second time was because I absolutely HATE Mitt Romney and every single Republican out there.  He wanted to cut Social Security!  They all do.

And so did YOU.  The ONLY reason you didn’t get your cuts was due to the GOP’s plan of non-governing, refusing to do anything you wanted to do.

Voting for them is signing our death warrant.  But now voting for establishment democrats like you means the same thing, but in a nicer package.  Establishment Dems make speeches, tell us what we want to hear, and then they do the opposite.  Kamala Harris is just like you.  She was a Big Pharma lobbyist.  That’s enough to disqualify her from office.

I’m sick it.  I’m sick of you.  Buh-bye, asshole.  Go sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up.

History Lesson: Las Vegas Wasn’t the Worst in US History

Las Vegas was not the worst mass killing in American history: A history lesson

Many have argued this week and in the past that events like the Colfax Massacre and Wounded Knee are seen as separate because, within American history, the deaths of Native Americans and African Americans have not been seen the same as the deaths of white people — and that failing to specify “modern” history while talking about events like Las Vegas only underscores that idea by implying that earlier shootings don’t count.

What the news outlets should have said was that this was the worst recorded massacre by a single individual.

Worst Massacres, with more than one shooter, non-war.  The reason isn’t given because it doesn’t matter; these murders were against the law:

May 31-June 1, 1921:  Greenwood Community, Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Coined The Tulsa Race Riot by White historians

Victims:   300 African-Americans

Shooter:  White Mob

December 29, 1890:  Pine Ridge Agency (reservation) at Wounded Knee Creek

Victims:  200+ Lakota Native Americans

Shooter:  US Cavalry

April 13, 1873, Easter Sunday:  Colfax, Louisiana.  The Colfax Massacre(Whites in 1950 renamed it the Colfax Riots in order to dismiss it)

Victims:  150 African Americans

Shooter:  White “Southern Democrats” (Democrats were modern-day Republicans and the switch came during the 60s Civil Rights Era in what has been coined “the Southern Strategy”)

November 29, 1864:  Sand Creek, Colorado (the Sand Creek Massacre)

Victims:  70-163 Cheyenne and Arapaho (dead and dying)

Shooter:  Colorado volunteers under the command of Col. John Chivington

May 15, 1850:  Clear Lake, Lake County, California.  The Bloody Island Massacre

Victims:  150-200 Pomo Native Americans

Shooter:  1st Dragoons Regiment of the U.S. Army, under the command of Lieutenants Nathaniel Lyon and J.W. Davison

(BTW, I’m White)
